Biography of P.P. Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Swami

Param Pujya Shree Tembe Swami (Vasudevanand Saraswati) was born on September 26, 1858, in Mangaon, Ratnagiri district. He mastered Sanskrit and all Vedic scriptures. He composed hundreds of devotional songs and texts and established Dattatreya temples across Maharashtra.
