Lord Dattatreya

Lord Dattatreya is considered the first Guru (Adi Guru) of the universe. He is a divine incarnation combining the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Born to the sage Atri and his wife Anasuya as a direct manifestation of the Holy Trinity.

Dattatreya is revered as the ultimate teacher who transcends all conventional norms. He is depicted with three heads symbolizing the three aspects of divinity, four hands holding a trident, conch, discus and lotus, accompanied by four dogs and a cow.
